Top 10 Cheesy Line Dances To Be Found: at Weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Filipino Prison, In The Comfort of Your Own Home...

Screw coordinated dance scenes in movies. This here is the real thing...REAL LIFE coordinated dances done by REAL untalented PEOPLE. Cheesy line dances have been sucking people onto dance floors nation wide since the beginning of disco, probably even before disco (B.D.)!!! Here are the Top 10 that you're most likely to have done over the past 15 years, and performed by folks you probably danced next to at some point or another. These videos have been edited and mashedup courtesy of Searchles TV Remash.

1. Soulja Boy...Those dang Philipino prisoners are at it again and they've moved on to the more contemporary, complicated dance steps of Crank Dat. Attempted and destroyed by white people everywhere, these dancers under the fair whip of incarceration have mastered the Soulja Boy dance.

2. The Train...Well deep down South yo we play this game. It's the Quad City DJs and yo we call it The Train. I'm gonna go ahead and admit that this was my favorite of the line dances at the teen center on Friday nights and a real upgrade from the locomotion. So catchy. So well-played by the dude who flexes his muscle in the background...drawing attention to his guns and the fact that he's line-dancing in a basement in Duluth.

3. Electric Slide...Before viral video, there was the Electric Slide. And there was no stopping its infectious power at weddings, dances, Bar Mitzvah's, family reunions, sweet sixteens...

4. New Electric Slide...Heeyyoooo, who doesn't remember when the Electric Slide went all 2.0 and the new hip hop anonymous version was revealed. I remember the dance got much less appropriate for middle-schoolers at that particular point.

5. Men in Black...Speaking of weddings - this one is apparently from 2007. That makes it a solid 8 years after the very last Men in Black dance was sighted at a Bar Mitzvah on Long Island. Who is responsible for this?

6. Tootsie Roll
...The dog has never been so confused in its life.

7. Macarena...I feel as though this video accurately portrays every dancing of the Macarena in the last 15 years.

8. Achy Breaky Heart...Country wants to play too. A vague rip-off of the Electric Slide with a little more foot-tapping and mullet.

9. Cotton-Eyed Joe Dance
...These two kids belong in Philipino prison.

10. The Hustle...Which brings us full-circle both back to Philipino prison and back to one of the original cheesy line dances, The Hustle. Enjoy.

I love it! Bravo! Fantastic! And, of course funny! It makes me think about how all those people were looking at me (and thinking) while I was up on the dance floor looking ridiculous.

I posted a link from my party planning blog for Bar Mitzvahs and Weddings. But, perhaps I should get into the prison party planning business. Many, many potential customers all at one site. I wonder...perhaps a party planning showcase for prisoners?
