Top 10 Keanu Reeves Really Really Good Acting Moments

I'd like to take a moment to highlight the acting prowess of the better half of Wyld Stallyns. Now Keanu Reeves is studly as all get-out and can really deliver the sweet sweet emotional dialogue - but I must say the only characters he could ever actually sell to me were Ted (of Bill & Ted) and Johnny Utah (Point Break)...just sayin'. Now that he's been in the game for over 20 years we can go back and recall some stellar and/or memorable moments in Keanu Reeves entertainment career from both his movies and a few commercial appearances (in which I still sense some bad acting going down)... If you think you can do the same for the feller that played Bill Preston, Esq., go ahead and use Searchles TV mashup tool to do so.

1. Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey - Playing Against Death. Bill and Ted choose battleship as their competition of choice. The fear, anxiety, determination and stoner-ness wrapped into the line "G-3" is chill-inducing.

2. Point Break - "Caught my first tube this morning...Sir." It needs not embellishment.

3. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure - History Report. It's hard to have yourself taken seriously when your reference both Ozzy Osbourne and Led Zeppelin while introducing Socrates. Yet somehow we all learned something...

4. First Canadian International Teddy Bear Convention. Seriously I have no idea what the hell this is....absolutely no idea. But it takes place in Canada and is amazing.

5. Parenthood - "She hates my butt."
Strategic move on the Director of Parenthood to draw attention away from dialogue with tighty-whiteys.

6. Speed - "Cool"
about describes Keanu's composure during this high-octane action masterpiece. Except when Harry died but unfortunately I cannot find said clip.

7. The Matrix. "Guns."
Again, I wanted the "I know Ju Jitsu" line (which I should really credit to the writers as well) but it's unfortunately nowhere to be found on the 'tube'. Thankfully any line from Keanu will suffice.

8. Something's Gotta Give. He really had to nail this one to sell the whole Keanu Reeves actually pursuing Diane Keaton thing.

9. Corn Flakes Commercial.
Here he had to master juggling corn flakes boxes, dancing, putting on the 'enjoying the corn flakes but full-well knowing he's not supposed to be eating them' face.

10. NHL Ad - "Come and get it."
Trying to talk Americans into actually watching hockey. Best o'luck.

I will have to agree with you on Reeves acting prowess, but you left out my favorite "I love you Victoria" from A Walk in the Clouds. Very stirring.
