8 Songs (Ballads?) Lovingly Dedicated to Ann Coulter (NSFW)

Ann Coulter...so I know a tiny little bit about her political leanings but in digging a little deeper just to get a more well-rounded picture (read: wikipedia), I've discovered she is also a fan of the Grateful Dead (cue Jerry Garcia reeling in his grave) and one of her favorite books is The Bible - her favorite book to burn, on the other hand, is probably quite a different story. What's more? People like to write songs about her!!! She's apparently quite the muse. Here are the 8 best examples of such songs on YouTube - Chris Isto's song - video number 1 - being my personal favorite. Do Chris a personal favor and mashup more of his videos using Searchles TV...he'd like that.

1. Chris Isto, my new favorite musical comedian - filling a Flight of the Conchords-shaped void in my heart. Where the **** have they been?

2. Unclear as to who this man with a mean Ukelele is - yet the message remains the same.

3. The voice behind Obama Girl's sings a song addressing Ms. Coulter's soft thoughts on Judaism - "Perfected".

4. The Ballad of Ann Coulter.

5. Beautiful Annie...a Geraldo Rivera caricature sings.

6. "I Kissed Joe McCartney"...lovingly comparing the Coulter to Eva Braun?

7. Gdubs sings a love song to Ann Coulter.

8. Ann Coulter in "Jobless"

Top 10 Cheesy Line Dances To Be Found: at Weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Filipino Prison, In The Comfort of Your Own Home...

Screw coordinated dance scenes in movies. This here is the real thing...REAL LIFE coordinated dances done by REAL untalented PEOPLE. Cheesy line dances have been sucking people onto dance floors nation wide since the beginning of disco, probably even before disco (B.D.)!!! Here are the Top 10 that you're most likely to have done over the past 15 years, and performed by folks you probably danced next to at some point or another. These videos have been edited and mashedup courtesy of Searchles TV Remash.

1. Soulja Boy...Those dang Philipino prisoners are at it again and they've moved on to the more contemporary, complicated dance steps of Crank Dat. Attempted and destroyed by white people everywhere, these dancers under the fair whip of incarceration have mastered the Soulja Boy dance.

2. The Train...Well deep down South yo we play this game. It's the Quad City DJs and yo we call it The Train. I'm gonna go ahead and admit that this was my favorite of the line dances at the teen center on Friday nights and a real upgrade from the locomotion. So catchy. So well-played by the dude who flexes his muscle in the background...drawing attention to his guns and the fact that he's line-dancing in a basement in Duluth.

3. Electric Slide...Before viral video, there was the Electric Slide. And there was no stopping its infectious power at weddings, dances, Bar Mitzvah's, family reunions, sweet sixteens...

4. New Electric Slide...Heeyyoooo, who doesn't remember when the Electric Slide went all 2.0 and the new hip hop anonymous version was revealed. I remember the dance got much less appropriate for middle-schoolers at that particular point.

5. Men in Black...Speaking of weddings - this one is apparently from 2007. That makes it a solid 8 years after the very last Men in Black dance was sighted at a Bar Mitzvah on Long Island. Who is responsible for this?

6. Tootsie Roll
...The dog has never been so confused in its life.

7. Macarena...I feel as though this video accurately portrays every dancing of the Macarena in the last 15 years.

8. Achy Breaky Heart...Country wants to play too. A vague rip-off of the Electric Slide with a little more foot-tapping and mullet.

9. Cotton-Eyed Joe Dance
...These two kids belong in Philipino prison.

10. The Hustle...Which brings us full-circle both back to Philipino prison and back to one of the original cheesy line dances, The Hustle. Enjoy.

The 9 Best Liberties Taken with the "Say Anything" Boombox Scene

Just like the scene in Say Anything where the little dude at the Gas Mart says "Bitches, man" speaks volumes to men everywhere (Disclaimer: likely that men have never even seen Say Anything - but if they did...), the Lloyd Dobler boombox scene set to Peter Gabriel's In Your Eyes causes ladies everywhere to swoon - to wonder, "where is my knight in a trenchcoat with a shining boombox circa 1989?" (Article on whether or not Lloyd Dobler trumps Jake Ryan of Sixteen Candles fame here and here)

And as with all iconic movie scenes, Youtubers have taken liberties to recreate, twist, butcher, and humor-ify it. Cameron Crowe would (not) be proud. However, my 9 favorite are below. If you want to mashup your favorite "You Can't Handle The Truth!" recreations, you may do so using Searchles TV or Searchles Remash editor.

Things I Miss: Spoken-Word Interludes in Boyz II Men Songs

We'll go ahead and call this list 'best R&B spoken-word interludes' - and this 'best of' category is pretty much dominated by smooth operators Boyz II Men. The dude with that sweet sweet deep voice, pimped-out cane and shirt flapping in the wind, Mr. Michael McCrary, would break down his emotional feelings and such mid-Boyz II Men tunes. Although they've come to the end of the road, you know you still get a little weak in the knees and/or teary-eyed when he called you 'Baby'. Anywho, using Searchles Remash editor I was able to cut to the aforementioned sweet spots of these classic tunes. This list is also bilingual as Boyz II Men would go on to record some of their greatest hits in Spanish...the effect remains the same. They sure don't make'em like they used to.

Celebrities Pushing Vintage Tech: Top 10 Commercials from the 80s feat. Stars

Back in the 80s, we didn't entirely understand certain technologies as we do today (read: computers, polaroid, video games) so we needed a little friendly nudge from our celebrity friends to get us down to circuit city and do our jobs as consumers. Below are the ten best celeb appearances in vintage tech commercials (Commodore...whoa). Mashup your own vids using Searchles TV or the Remash video editor. Online video...toot toot, beep beep.

1. Atari commercial feat. Kareem Abdul Jabar (1978). A real David and Goliath story.

2. Compaq ad feat. John Cleese "I Wouldn't Watch This Commercial" (mid-80s). Sadly only aired in the UK.

3. IBM commercial feat. Cast of M*A*S*H (1989)

4. Commodore Amiga ad feat. Tommy Lasorda, the Pointer Sisters and Tip O'Neil (1986).
Not even The Pointer Sisters could save Commodore, and vice versa.

5. Windows 1.0 ad feat. Steve Ballmer (1985). WOW...the enthusiasm.

6. Apple Lisa ad feat. Kevin Costner (1983).
The computer makes him look nervous.

7. Polaroid commercial feat. Mariette Hartley and James Garner (1981)

8. Sony Betamax commercial feat. fake Albert Einstein (1980). Yeah, fake. Eh...why not?

9. Atari XL Atari Writer ad feat. Alan Alda (1984).
Alan Alda loooooved him some tech.

10. Kodak commercial feat. Michael Landon (1981). Michael Landon just screams Christmas.
